Up hecka early today. Surgery scheduled for 7:00 AM and needed to be at the center by 5:45 AM. Mom and Dad didn’t sleep much.
At the surgery center the Big One was being very brave during her wait. Daddy let her watch some videos to try to keep her busy. She began to get anxious while getting her IV and stayed that way until they wheeled her away. Such a brave little girl. (sniff-sniff) The procedure should take about 90 minutes or so, then it is a long road to healing. She was overall in good spirits and was able to laugh at herself with funky hairnet. She also was laughing about having to get her leg shaved and was pretty giggly during as it was tickling her. Daddy had to initial her leg to validate which was the correct one.
