It was a happy Mother’s Day. The kids have been fighting a cold, NO not H1N1 flu, just a cold. Today they woke up and were feeling a lot better so we decided to go to the “pancake breakfast” at the San Jose Church. Mmm…It was good. We had pancake, Portuguese sausage, eggs, rice and fresh strawberries. We joined some friends over there, the Sakino’s. I think everyone ate too much. The big one actually like the sausage, totally shocked Mommy and Daddy. The little one thought it was spicy, but ate it anyway. The both ate some pancake with their fingers full of butter. After the full meal we walked over to the farmer’s market, the manju shop and then to the Japanese market. We were attempting to walk off the breakfast and not feel so bad for eating so good. I don’t think it worked. Anyway, we hope all the mothers out there had a great day. Here are some pictures of the day…
