Hi folks…
Things here have been going pretty well. The 2 girls are getting big. Whatever shell the big one ever had is definitely gone and the little one still plays off being the shy one. Usually takes a good 20 minutes or show to warm up and then you would wish she be shy again. LOL. They both are definitely keeping us busy. I’m not sure if it is every kid, they both seem to have endless energy. Well, I guess it could be age talkin’ here too. Hey now…
We just missed signing them up for swim lessons, so they will be going in the middle of summer. We are sure they will truly enjoy it. When we have brought them to the pool before they always have a great time.
The big one earlier this year was preparing to be tested for entry to private school. One of the things she would be tested on is rhyming. Well a few weeks ago Mommy was playing rhyming with her and asked her what rhymed with “lean”. The big one had a little trouble so Mommy said think of something you call Mommy, looking for the word “mean”, well the big one ends up saying “FAT”. OMG!!!! We just laughed as you can probably imaging. It still makes me smile when I think about it, too funny.
Today it was suppose to rain, but it looked as though we were going to miss it so we took the kids outside to play. Yesterday was yucky out and they stayed in all day, so we wanted to make sure they had an opportunity to get out today. We had them running around, riding bikes, blowing bubbles and flying a kite. This was their first chance to play with a kite that they had received from the M.V. Obon a few years ago from Uncle Dean. They loved it. They were running back an forth taking turns making it fly in the air. I think they will be asking to do it again soon.
